Excel Construction of Florida Completes Fifth Industrial Building in Davie Business Center

Spanning 225,580 SF, Davie E is the largest building in the office park

As prime commercial space in well-situated industrial parks across South Florida continue to be in high demand, Excel Construction of Florida has announced the completion of Davie Business Center Building E, the fifth building in the business park to be constructed by the company.

“We’re proud to have completed five premier buildings for IDI Logistics since 2016, including the interior buildouts for each new tenant in the business park” said Excel Construction of Florida President Eric Wolf. “Not only is Davie a great place to do business, but the Davie Business Center is well located for cost-efficient distribution across Florida. Prospective companies will have access to high quality first-generation space designed and constructed to meet the needs of companies that require significant storage or distribution space.”

Located at 3360 Davie Road in Davie, Florida, the new 225,580-sq.-ft. building was constructed with tilt-up concrete and features 32 feet of clear building height.

Davie E sits within close proximity to I-595 and offers direct access to I-95, I-75 and Florida’s Turnpike. Along with six other buildings in the park, Davie E is owned and managed by IDI Logistics, a leading developer and manager of logistics real estate in the U.S.  Since 1989, IDI Logistics has developed and acquired more than 100 world-class business parks and 750 warehouses totaling over 200 million SF throughout North America.  For more information, please visit www.idilogistics.com.

Excel is completing the interiors for two of the three spaces that are currently leased, including: Chauvet Lighting, a major innovator, developer and manufacturer of lighting and control systems; and Iron Mountain, a global leader in innovative storage, data center infrastructure, asset lifecycle management and information management services.

Excel Construction of Florida is also finalizing an interior spec space buildout of the third 35,370-sq.-ft. space, which is scheduled for completion in December 2022.

“Excel has been fortunate to work with a variety of high-profile national and international companies at Davie Business Center to build out their workspaces,” noted Wolf.  “From the ground-up we’ve been intricately involved in the construction of these buildings, which has  enabled us to complete each buildout seamlessly, with precision and speed. Each tenant has benefited from a quick transition into their new state-of-the-art industrial workspace.”

Notable tenants in the Davie Business Center include Kellstrom Aerospace; Vortex Aviation; A Boeing Company; Jarlin Cabinetry; Daco World; KUS USA; Comcast; Georg Fischer; Embraer and Richelieu Hardware; among others.

Larry Dinner of CBRE is the leasing representative for IDI Logistics for the building.
